Instructor Training
If you love riding bikes, why not get paid for it?
Instructor Development Course
If you love riding and fancy turning that into part-time income or a full career change, our Instructor Development Course is designed to get you ready. Over five days at Vale Moto HQ in Llandow, you'll learn how to deliver training the way a DVSA Approved Training Body expects — so you walk away genuinely prepared for your DVSA instructor assessment, and in a strong position to apply for a job at an ATB near you.
What the course is (and isn't)
This is a learning course, not a test. You're assessed on your progress throughout the week, but there's no pass/fail exam at the end. It's not a DVSA qualification in itself — it's five days of solid preparation so you walk into your DVSA assessment with real experience and training behind you?
Who it's for?
Anyone who's held a full motorcycle licence for more than 3 years, with no more than 6 points on their licence. Whether you're after some part-time extra income or thinking about a full switch into motorcycle training as a career, this course is your starting point.
What you'll learn
• Delivering the DVSA CBT syllabus
• Teaching style and coaching techniques
• Mock student scenarios
• Observing a live CBT
What's included
• Training bikes provided
• Vale Moto Instructor Training Manual - trainer tips and cone layout diagrams, yours to keep
• Small groups — just 3 spaces per course to ensure quality
